How we work đź§
-
To be able to manage different jobs and roles we have, we are rigorous with planning our time. We use Google calendar for everything.
-
We try to minimize noise and communicate effectively. This Twitter thread describes well how to communicate effectively with us.
-
Trust is key. We work with people we trust and we trust people we work with.
Key principles 🗝️
This is our way to achieve the best results and enjoy what we’re doing. To achieve what we are after, we need to be all on the same page. We want everyone in the team to be driver, not passenger - here is more about what it means.
What we appreciate đź‘Ť
- Integrity = “Always do what you believe is right for the customer and for the company”
- 100% ownership = we want to rely on you and be sure that if you are handling a certain thing, you will do it better than we’d do it.
- Curiosity & Proactivity = Come up with new initiatives or projects. Suggest changes we need to make. Ask questions and challenge how we do things. You are talking to customers and partners so you have the best insights!
- Direct Feedback = Never hesitate to give us feedback. That includes negative feedback and constructive criticism. We want to grow both as a business and as professionals and feedback is the only way to achieve that. You can expect the same from us.
- Having fun during work. In the end, our business is to make other people happy.
What we don’t appreciate 👎
- “To-do-list checkers” - If we are all just waiting for someone to give us a task, we won’t get anything done
- “Brain laziness” - asking questions that you can answer yourself, or without research
- Activities, not outcomes = We don’t want to track how many hours you work or how many emails are sent. We care about outcomes. Always go back to your KPIs and ask if this is the most effective way to achieve them.
